What Devices is Osmo Compatible with?

Osmo is compatible with most iPads and select Amazon Fire tablets.

iPads:

• The Osmo hardware (base & reflector) and the software are fully compatible with these iPad models: 
  • iPad (Generations 5 – 9)
  • iPad Mini (Generations 2 – 6)
  • iPad Air (Generations 1 – 5)
  • iPad Pro 9.7-inch 
  • iPad Pro 10.5-inch
  • iPad Pro 11-inch (Generations 1 – 3)
  • iPad Pro 12. 9-inch (Generations 1 – 5)
• Need Reflectors for the following iPad models:
  • iPad Mini 6
  • iPad Air 4 – 5
  • iPad Pro 12. 9 inch (Generations 3 – 5)
• Limited Compatibility devices are as follows:
  • iPad 2
  • iPad 3
  • iPad 4
  • iPad Mini 1 

Note: The tablets listed in limited compatibility devices are no longer supported by Apple. It should continue to work if you have previously downloaded Osmo apps on any of these devices. Also, you will not receive any new updates or will not be able to download it again on these devices if you delete the Osmo apps.   

iOS Version: Note that the minimum iOS version required is 11.

Amazon Fire tablets:

• The Osmo Fire base is fully compatible with the following Amazon Fire tablets:
  • Amazon Fire HD 8 (8th Generation)
  • Amazon Fire 7 (9th Generation)
  • Amazon Fire HD 10 (9th Generation)
  • Amazon Fire HD 8 (10th Generation)
  • Amazon Fire HD 10 (11th Generation) 

Note: All fully compatible models include the Plus model and the Kids edition with the case removed. 

• Limited Compatibility devices are as follows:
  • Amazon Fire 7 (7th Generation)
  • Amazon Fire HD 8 ( 7th Generation)
  • Amazon Fire HD 10 ( 7th Generation)

Fire OS Version: Note that the minimum Fire OS version required is 7.0.

Games Compatibility:

• The Fire HD 8 (10th Generation) and Fire HD 10 (11th Generation) are not compatible with the games, such as Cooking Chaos, Kaleidoscope, Numbers Toybox, Words Chomp and Words Explorers. 
• The Math Wizard games are not compatible with any compatible device. 
•  The Reading Adventure is not compatible with the following devices:
  • iPad Air 1
  • iPad Mini 2
  • iPad Mini 3
  • Limited Compatibility iPads
  • Any Fire tablets
• The games listed below are not compatible with any devices and have been discontinued. They can continue to work on any device if they were previously downloaded. 
  • Mind Racers
  • Super Studio Incredibles 2

Note: MindRacers is not compatible with any Fire tablet.
