More Fall-Themed / Halloween-Themed Activities with Osmo in the Classroom!

Ready for more ideas for classroom activities this fall? Here are some suggestions from Osmo Ambassador Brooke Lohse. 

First, get your hands on the children’s book “Room on the Broom” by Julia Donaldson. 

Pull words from “Room on the Broom” that follow your review spelling patterns and the new patterns for the week and make a custom Osmo Words for kids Album with those words. After reading the book to your students,  have them do that Words Album as a station with the Osmo Words tiles. Need help creating your own Words Album? Here’s a great tutorial!

The second activity with “Room on the Broom” is with Osmo Masterpiece. They will be given the option of drawing one of the characters from the book using the Masterpiece Osmo app. After creating that Masterpiece they will then turn that into a writing assignment around that character!
