Easy DIY Slime Tutorial
Playing with slime is definitely one of the most amazing sensory experiences. It helps kids keep calm and focused, and encourages them to play independently. What’s even better than simply playing with slime is making your own slime!
So, here’s a step-by-step guide to make slime.
Materials required:
- Bowl
- Dish soap
- Tablespoon
- Clear glue
- Saline solution
- Spoon
Instructions:
- Add 6 ¾ tablespoons of glue in a bowl
- Stir until it’s fully mixed
- Add in saline solution until the slime starts to thicken, and you’re done!
What else can you do with your slime? Apart from playing with it, you could try the following:
Paint it!
Slime art is super fun. Let your child’s imagination run wild! Provide them with some paints and color pencils and let them paint and decorate their slime in whichever way they like.
Add some scents
To make wonderful scented lime, all you have to do is cut up your slime into small sludges and then add in some drops of your favorite perfume (or shampoo!) to it. Now, everytime your child plays with slime, they’ll find that their hands smell pleasant and fresh!
Make alphabet slime
This activity is a great way to test your child’s letter identification skills. First, take a few Scrabble letter tiles and then combine them with the slime. Kids must find all the hidden letters and identify each letter.
